Installations include the Centre for Environmental Education, the Ecological Garden, Rest Area, Play Area and a bar/refreshments stand. A trip to this Learning Centre will allow visitors to become aware and gain a better understanding of the region of Los Pedroches, which is of great ecological importance, possessing many beautiful landscapes. The Centre also hopes to heighten awareness of alternative energy sources and promote a greater degree of cooperation between public and private bodies and a greater degree of involvement of the public in general. The Centre possesses rooms that, amongst other subjects, provide information on autochthonous flora and fauna and the use of renewable energies, catering for the blind with information panels in Braille. The Centre also possesses a hall for screening films, tourist information points and an area for the sale of typical products from the region. The ecological garden lies within an area that offers a pleasant and interesting stroll, possessing a well, a reservoir and a waterwheel.OPENING HOURS
