It starts on the morning of April 30, when the Head Brother and President of the Brotherhood, accompanied by the sound of a drum visit the schools calling the children to meet on the “paseo”, where “chorchos” (lupins) are distributed by the mayor and members of the Town Council. On the previous Saturday, the Saint is taken on a procession accompanied by beautiful perabeñas wearing the typical Andalusian costume, the men in “short suits” and a large number of festooned horseriders.
