Although religious in essence, our Holy Week also offers a certain festive element, due to the manner in which these biblical scenes are celebrated, through individual characters in the City, at the forefront of which is the JUDIO DE BAENA, the centrepiece of our show.

There are numerous acts and processions during our Holy Week, which start from the beginning of Lent with the MISERERES of the Turba de Judios Colinegros, and that leads through to the rest of the brotherhood processions culminating on Easter Sunday.

The drum is the link of populism of the Holy Week in Baena and symbolises the clamour of the devotion for the Passion of Christ.
