The Capilla de San Bartolomé is lies in the heart of the Jewish quarter, within the grounds of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, which was formerly the Hospital del Cardenal Salazar, also known as the Hospital de Agudos.
The building presents a fine example of Gothic-Mudejar aesthetics.
It is almost square in form, with an atrium and chapel, possessing tiled plinths and a paved patio.
