Nature lovers will enjoy climbing up el Peñón, which affords marvellous views of the Valle del Guadiato [Guadiato Valley] and the municipality of Peñarroya – Pueblonuevo.
During the climb visitors will be able to distinguish the wide range of colours that make up Mediterranean vegetation.
At the top, the schematic cave paintings in the “Abrigo de la Virgen” bear mention.
