The ermita de la Virgen de Guía stands on the outskirts of the town: it is constructed in theGothic style of the Catholic Monarchs and consists of three naves with pointed arches.
The transverse arch opens on to the main chapel, which has a cross ribbed vault: this presbytery is decorated with interesting murals from the 16th century, which represent the Asunción and the Coronación de la Virgen on plinths, whilst the evangelists appear on the casks of the vault.
In 1952, construction work in the chapel uncovered six 13th-century sculptures, which are now housed in the Museo Diocesano of Cordoba.
