The Ermita de la Antigua, or Ermita de la Piedad [chapel], dates back to the 17th century.
It consists of a single vaulted nave, at the end of which we find a magnificent 18th-century camarin, which has the peculiar feature of possessing a cover of nine stretches with eight vaults and a small central cupola, elevated on four columns, which endows it with a special position amongst the province’s camarins, which are normally squared or octagonal enclosures.
The Virgen de la Piedad is the patron of the municipality of Iznájar.
