The Iglesia de Jesús Nazareno was erected in the first quarter of the 18th century on the site of the old ermita de San Benito [chapel].
It is an interesting building with a Latin-cross plan and noteworthy multi-coloured decoration on the cross aisle, cupola and raised altarpiece from 1734, the work of Gaspar Lorenzo de los Cobos.
The Image of Jesus Nazareno in its camarín also bears mention.
