The parish church of la Purísima Concepción presides over the Plaza Real.
Two towers flank the façade, finished by a large shell that shelters the coat of arms of Charles III.
The temple consists of three naves separated by semi-circular arches that are supported by robust columns; a Baroque cupola decorated with radial fascia covers the central section of the cross aisle.
The eighteenth century raised altarpiece was replaced by another from the same period, which originally stood in the convent of Santa María de los Angeles.
The images include Jesús Nazareno and the Cristo de la Sangre, the colour of wood, both of which date from the 17th century.
