The Local Historic Museum of Puente Genil was founded in 1982 and occupies the headquarters of the Convent of La Victoria, a building constructed in the 17th century.
The museum exhibits archaeological materials pertaining to various ages, architectural materials from the Roman era (capitals, bases, etc), mosaics from the Hispano-Roman town of Fuente Àlamo and ethnographic materials relating to the farming of quince fruit and its traditional preparation.
