The communal woodlands comprise 2500 acres of pine and oak and are located in the Central Eastern Sierra Cordoba, in the municipality of Adamuz. The fauna is represented by wild boar and deer. Other notable species are partridges, owls, kestrels, eagles, crows, foxes, etc..
