The Municipal Archaeological Museum of Montoro is located in the medieval hermitage of Sta. Ma de la Mota.
The Museum houses collections of minerals and rocks as well as exhibitions of fossils, archaeological remains from the Paleolithic, Neolithic and Calcolithic Ages along with Iberian and Greek ceramics, amongst other items.
Its most prized piece is a thoracate sculpture of the emperor Trajan.
