The Municipal Historical Museum of Montilla was created in 1994 in buildings belonging to the Casa de Cultura.
It boasts a series of permanent exhibition rooms that display archaeological materials in chronological order, covering prehistory, the Iberian, Roman and Moorish periods, Roman constructions, the funerary world, the medieval period and the modern age up to the 19th century.
