In the central Plaza de España we find the main monument of the town: the parish church of San Miguel, a temple with three naves that boast semi-circular arches on slender pillars.
The church was erected in 1553 and the cross aisle with the central cupola and the main chapel were added two centuries later.
The side façades date back to the oldest period, whilst the façade at the foot and the slender tower-finished in 1785- correspond to the 18th century reformation work.
The temple houses a 17th-century Renaissance monstrance.
